Selinsgrove, PA - In a joint effort to grow local business, the Rural Business Innovation (RBI) Selinsgrove Incubator has granted office space to the Bucknell University Small Business Development Center (SBDC). “We welcome the SBDC to our incubator and look forward to future collaboration with the team and the clients they serve”, said RBI Executive Director Kelly O’Brien Gavin. The Selinsgrove Incubator Project provides free consulting services, support and low-cost professional office space in downtown Selinsgrove for all types of business, as well as small business loans and financial incentives for entrepreneurs, startup, and early stage companies that qualify. The SBDC will mark the launch of this partnership by presenting two business startup workshops in downtown Selinsgrove on April 7th. Aspiring business owners will find answers to questions such as: "how do I turn my good idea into a successful business?", "what kind of forms and licenses do I need?", and "where can I find financing?". Attendees will also learn about resources for downtown businesses from Selinsgrove Projects, Inc. and will learn what a lender looks for from program sponsor Northumberland National Bank.
