Benton, PA - Mary and Lynn Sheatler became the proud new owners of Goods Campground on May 22nd, 2017. Originally looking at possible homes for sale in the Red Rock area they first toured the campground in late 2016. It was obvious that maintenance and repairs would be necessary before the buildings could be open to the public. However, where others might have seen only necessary clean up and repairs, this husband and wife team saw possibilities and potential.
SSF is starting a new webinar series to feature green energy and environmentally friendly technologies with big potential benefits. The purpose of Going Green Without Going Into the Red is to learn about green technology applications and provide developers an opportunity to feature their innovations.
We need to ask for your help today to educate your state elected officials about the importance of the Pennsylvania’s KIZ tax credit. We are particularly concerned about the future of the program given the 40 percent cut that occurred last year and this year’s call from Governor Tom Wolf for a $100 million reduction across all of Pennsylvania’s various tax credit programs.
If you agree with us that this is a valuable program that supports start-ups, please contact your elected officials today to express your support. The Pittsburgh Technology Council has created an easy-to-use tool for you to contact Governor Wolf, as well as your state senator and state representative.
